Documented regular Yoga Practice.
Applicants should be 18+ years of age.
Submit the Admission Form before lodging the Enrolment Form.
Available for a personal interview with the Admissions Director (Skype or Phone).
Free of disability or disease that could impede the learning process of the individual or jeopardise the health and safety of fellow students.
A doctor’s letter stating that the applicant is in good physical health with no disability or disease that could impede the learning process of the individual or jeopardise the health and safety of fellow students.
Students must not be pregnant. Please be sure to inform us of any minor physical injuries or conditions.
Fitness Instructors cannot access this course based only on their experience teaching Body Balance.
Candidates must have a mature understanding of themselves and others. Maturity is based on the applicants reasonable capacity to exercise:
Commitment and Personal Follow Through.
Understanding of basic human logic and emotion: Ability to discern emotions from facts, and both from judgments.
Ability and Willingness for Empathy: The ability to take on another person’s point of view and set your own temporarily aside when the environment is safe to do so.
Open Mind: The ability to seriously consider that your first thought, emotion, or judgment does not accurately reflect reality.
Have Computer Literacy: Comfort with email, navigating websites. Much of the courses components will coordinated correspondence.
*We do not accept any one who has never taken a yoga class but has only studied from books alone at home or taken online yoga classes.
To receive 15 CECs certificate to re-register with Fitness Australia must hold the following:
Certificate III or above in Fitness recognised by Fitness Australia.
Registration Fitness Australia.
Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
