Designed to create an avenue for practitioners of all kind to become part of the Alliances community.


Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Accredited SchoolCEAS, or Continuing Education Accredited School was first introduced by Yoga Alliance  - International Australia  in July 2014 as an integral part of the registration package for RYSs.

As of January 2017, CEAS has been made available to yoga teachers and non-yoga individuals as a stand-alone product.

With the CEAS, RYTs, ERYTs (Member and non-member of our organisation),Yoga Therapists, Expert Teachers registered with Yoga Alliance-International Australia as Expert Teacher (New Designation for Consultants) practitioners with a relevant degree, certification or substantial education in specific areas of expertise, medical doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, natural therapists, holistic experts and scholars just to mention a few, can participate.

Anyone that meets the registration criteria can apply and start their own CEAS business as a Provider of Yoga Alliance worldwide accredited Continuing Education Specialty Courses for RYTs, other category of yoga and non-yoga professionals.

Any non-yoga person doing the CEAS courses can join us as an Affiliate Member for only $80 a year.

CEAS Registration Requirements

To apply for CEAS status, applicant must have a business registered with the appropriate authority in the country of residence.

All applications should be supplemented by the documents below:

  1. Copy of the business certificate (Company/Sole Trader/Sole Proprietor). For Australian applicants, evidence of registration with ASIC (ABN/CAN) are required.

  2. Copy registration certificate RTY/ERYT with Yoga Alliance Australia or a similar recognised organisation.

  3. Copy registration certificate EXPERT TEACHER  with Yoga Alliance-International/Australia (If applicable).

  4. Continuing education programs title (minimum 2 programs for must be registered) training manual or detailed courses outline specifying the topics covered. Courses MUST be minimum 30 hours (contact/non-contact).

  5. Copy Student’s certificate of training completion (the certificate students receive at the end of the course).

What Type of CE Training Programs can I Register?
  1. The subjects may be chosen by the school based on their program’s focus.

  2. Continuing Education Courses must incorporate at least 30 hours (contact/non-contact hours).

  3. CEAS comes with one Programme FREE of charge. A $80 fee applies for additional standard programs.
