The CEAS, or Continuing Education Accredited School designation is designed for ALL kind of Experts in the holistic, yoga, natural and alternative therapies community to set themselves apart and provide courses that qualifies as Continuing Education hours for RYTs or other category of professionals.
As of January 2017, the CEAS is available as a stand-alone product to RYTs/ERYTs and non-yoga individuals.
With the CEAS, teachers (RYT/ERYT) member and non-member of the association and ALL specialists with a relevant degree, certification or substantial education in specific areas of expertise, can participate.
Anyone that meets the registration criteria can apply and start their own CEAS business as a Provider of Yoga Alliance accredited Continuing Education Courses for RYTs, other category of yoga and non-yoga professionals.
Any non-yoga person doing the CEAS courses can join us as an Affiliate Member for only $50 a year.
Registration is open to ALL professionals Members and Non-Members of the association.
RYTs member and non-member of the association MUST hold a relevant degree, certification or substantial education in specific areas of expertise on any subjects within yoga, holistic disciplines, natural therapies and/or other fields of specialty. * Prior to register for CEAS, a RYT must first apply for Expert Teacher status.
ERYTs member of the association MUST hold a relevant degree, certification or substantial education in specific areas of expertise. * NOT required to apply for Expert Teacher.
ERYTs/Senior non-member of the association MUST hold a relevant degree, certification or substantial education in specific areas of expertise. *MUST apply for Expert Teacher status.
All applications should be supplemented by the documents below:
Copy of the business certificate (Company/Sole Trader/Sole Proprietor).* Australian applicants MUST provide evidence of business registration (ABN/CAN).
Copy registration certificate EXPERT TEACHER with Yoga Alliance-International/Australia (If applicable).
Continuing education programs title and format (e.g.seminar/workshop/retreats/ in-house course)
Applicants MUST accredit a minimum of two CE programs. *ALL CEAS applications includes one Programme FREE of charge.
Training manual and/or detailed courses outline specifying the topics covered. Courses MUST contain minimum 30 hours (contact/non-contact).
Copy Student’s certificate of training completion (the certificate students receive at the end of the course).
The subjects may be chosen by the school based on their program’s focus.
Continuing Education Courses must incorporate at least 30 hours (contact/non-contact hours).
